Mr. Ernest Paul is the strongest pillar and the back bone of the organization is having 18 years of rich experience in Microfinance and under his leadership the flag of Saadhana is flying high bagging the awards year after year in different categories.
Ever since he heard the buzz word micro credit from Prof. Malcam Harper he has constantly strived hard to make use of micro credit to uplift the downtrodden poor. He has been the guiding force behind the success of Saadhana today for achieving success in reaching more than 1 lakh clients and bringing them out of poverty. His strengths are honesty, transparency, punctuality, sound knowledge of microfinance and never say die attitude. He has tried his level best to inculcate these habits in his team and to a large extent is successful and the same is reflecting in the organization.
Mr. Paul has been attending many microfinance related trainings, symposiums, conferences, summits, organized by CGAP, FWWB and many other reputed institutions and thereby upgraded his skills and knowledge from time to time and is using the same in a very systematic manner and scaling up the microfinance sector ladder.
Today Mr. Paul has attained a leadership position and is a consultant, advisor, board member to many organizations in the sector. He is now being called for chairing sessions in number of training programmes, being a speaker in many conferences, sharing dais with many reputed heads in microfinance sector and as well as judging the paper presentations in various training programmes.
Mr. Paul has a wide vision and wants to help the needy and poor by all means. After giving micro credit for some time he realized that only credit in not sufficient and credit plus activity is must. Thinking on these lines he has planned a resource center to give capacity building training programmes to the clients and upcoming MFIs. Many MFIs have undergone Exposure visits in Saadhana and put in to practice the learning’s from Saadhana and thereby making their presence felt in the sector.
At Saadhana it is team work all through under the leadership of a dedicated senior management team, the management practices are one of the best in the sector. Saadhana has carved out a niche for itself in good management practices. The management team believes in empowering the employees and uses decentralized methods of controlling and decision making. Saadhana believes in reaching manageable number of clients only with quality services instead of running after big numbers. This belief of Saadhana is fetching results and Saadhana has never looked back since its inception and growing slowly and steadily adding a robust number of satisfied clients year after year. |
